I need help with my java install caint figure it out?

When I turn on my laptop the screen fades white and a box comes up saying windows explorer has stopped working so I click close the program and it goes to my desktop except there's no background and all the things like apps Nd folders are gone. Then the same box pops up again and I can't use my laptop. How can I fix this?
